Some house projects

We are STILL working on the house. Sorry to be boring but I thought I'd show off our almost finished family room. We still need to install the baseboards (they are primed and ready!) and hang curtains and art. All that aside we are definitely living here - sippy cups, babies, and toys are all over the place. We love our new Ikea couch - I've had to take a washcloth to it several times now and it holds up like a champ. I will never own another micro-suede couch while children are living under my roof. 

We had some serious storms come through last week that dumped 4 inches of rain on us! I asked Terry to pull up 5 bushes in our front yard since the ground was so wet and he lovingly agreed. I wanted them gone because they produce some weirdo berries that P was interested in playing with and I'm not sure if they're poisonous or not. Also, they were ugly. So now our planters are in need of a little TLC. We are planning to get around to those once we finish our indoor projects. 

It's a lot of fun to own a home but it's also a lot of work.
