We had a great Memorial Day weekend, hope yours was nice too! The best part for us was having Terry home for 3 days - Shrimp and I are Co-Presidents of his fan club. We were supposed to lay sod in the backyard but Terry came home on Friday early from work with terrible stomach pains and we quickly realized that he had the same illness that Parker had last weekend. Luckily after a few phone calls we were able to push delivery back a week and let Terry recover. So that's what we did Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - recovered.
Monday, however, we were all feeling much better and decided to take a family bike ride along the Riverwalk trail in the morning. We started up at the Zoo and rode down to the Lock and Dam. It is such a beautiful trail!! Being 29 weeks along, I thought it would be a little difficult but the 8 miles were a breeze...it helped that Terry was the one towing the baby bike trailer ;) Here's a map of our ride:
Terry wore his BYU shirt and one of the river walk Taxi boat drivers gave us a thumbs up and an enthusiastic "Go Cougars" as we passed by. It was pretty awesome.
We decided to turn around at the Lock and Dam - we even got to see a boat go through the lock. Here is our parade of vehicles. We even hooked our little cooler to the back of the trailer and had cold water all day - totally worth it. I guess I can say that because I wasn't pulling the weight...
Shrimp has a love affair with my camera...
I don't know why I insist of wearing grey in the summer -apparently I WANT people to know that I'm a hot, sweaty mess. But here you have it - Buddy Boy Benton at 29 weeks.
It was a lot of fun and I want to go back again soon buuuuttt maybe I'll wait until Terry has to pull both boys...We had a great day and we are so grateful for those men and women who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice their lives for our country.

Sounds fun. I have been hoping that you would post a bump picture... I have not seen it in a long time. So cute. now lets hope you dont get sick this weekend.
The lock and dam is so cool. The picture juts looks like a Gatorade commercial.
That's right - drink gatorade and you can be a fat, sweaty pregnant lady like me! I sense a million dollar advertising campaign...
