When a toddler turns 18 months old in our Chuch he/she gets to go to Nursery with all the kids under 3 for the last 2 hours of church. This is a big deal. Before yesterday we had Parker with us all 3 hours and it was really hard to pay attention and chase him around. Now, after Sacrament Meeting he gets to play with toys, have a snack, color, sing, play with toys, and run around without having to be quiet! And WE get peace and quiet too!!!...for 3 more months...
Here he is on his first day in Nursery yesterday. He was too busy to look at the camera and a little nervous. But after a good cry (we were told) he settled right down and had a ball!
And can I just say? Relief Society was DIVINE! I got to sit and give the teacher my undivided attention for the entire hour. Ahhhhhhhh....it was so nice. And I'm going to say one more thing - I love Nursery leaders. They have the hardest calling in the church. Sorry President Monson, you know it's true.

Umm, this is stinkin cute! I love his little outfit! So exciting that he is in nursery now, enjoy Relief Society!
