We were lucky enough to have Grammy stay for an additional 3 days after getting home from New York. I thought it would be a perfect excuse to take the boys to the Children's Museum and having an additional set of hands and eyes proved priceless. I'm not ready for two mobile children.
Buddy has decided that he is too big to crawl up and down the stairs - he prefers to walk - which is nice when you're holding his hand but terrifying when he tries on his own. And he does. Luckily, these stairs had a hand rail he could actually reach.
He grunts each and every time he steps down. It's adorable and I promise I will get it on video for you to enjoy. Do you see how proud he is??
Air Traffic Control tower.
Inside the cockpit of the airplane.
Downstairs in the grocery store - both boys loved it so much.
Buddy knew exactly what to do, we didn't have to show him. I'm not surprised though, since our big outing of the week is to the grocery store. I was, however, concerned with his purchase. His cart was mostly full of Crystal Light...
…at least the Shrimp had more discerning tastes...
When Parker saw the lobster he thought it was real and became quite nervous. It wasn't until after I explained it was plastic and then hit it against the table a couple of times that he warmed up and put it in his cart. He also learned a new vocabulary word - delicacy. Definition: Parker, this is Lobster. It is a delicacy. That means that it is delicious but Mommy is too cheap to buy it. Phrase: This delicacy be burnin' a hole in our bank account. word.
One day I'll get them to actually hold still for a picture but I'm guessing that'll be when they are moody tweens. I'll take the blurry ones any day.
